SCARS
Non-surgical
Scar Revision

We provide a no knife, no needle, option for scar treatment.

Some of the scars we treat include...

  • Acne Scars
  • Scars from trauma or surgery
  • Scars from facelifts and other cosmetic procedures
  • C-section & Tummy-tuck scars
  • Keloids & Hyper-trophic Scars
  • Hypo-trophic Scars (indented scars)

We can also treat...

  • Dermal Thickening (thick leathery skin)
  • Skin Thinning (at risk for tears)

Typically, non-surgical scar revision involves getting painful injections into the scar.  The mainstay of our scar treatment is a pneumatic device that delivers medications and products into the scar or skin without a needle.  The medications are introduced into the scar as a mist rather than a bolus.  As a result, there is less pain, more even distribution of medication, and better outcomes.

Depending on your specific needs, we occasionally use dermal fillers, PDO threads, gentle lasers, and other technologies and medications synergistically with our non-invasive therapy. You will find our non-surgical scar revision relatively painless, gentle, and most importantly, you will have a minimal down-time compared to most conventional methods.

The down-time is social, not medical, and only applies to visible areas like the face or neck.  It is about 2-3 days for tiny pimples, which are the entry points of the medication, to go away. There is no down-time for hidden areas.  In most cases you could have your treatment at your lunch break.  On average, 3 treatment sessions will produce noticeable results (25-70 % or more scar reduction depending on scar severity & type, skin condition, and age, among other factors).

Scars can be not only unsightly, but sometimes are painful and may limit motion in the skin or body part. We look forward to helping in your journey to a more comfortable and confident you.

Initial consultation with a physician is free and can be done in-person or virtually by telemedicine using your smart and from the comfort and privacy of your home.
